A Milanese apartment located in a residential complex. The homeowners, a family of three with a passion for art and architecture, inspired us to create an elegant, refined palette of neutrals that evoke associations with the palette of Milan, given its elements of aesthetic industrialism.
"Our primary goal was to design a modern interior that utilised a colour palette of greys, natural wood, rustic textures and metal accents" _____________
Natural finishes and textiles soften and tone down shades of dark colours, bringing warmth and homeliness to the space. We took great care to preserve characterful features, including a generous bathroom window. In the daughter’s rooms, we created an ensuite whose two dark walls resemble the faces of a cube against the backdrop of the other white walls.
The living room combined with the kitchen is the central composition. Large floor-to-ceiling windows provide a view of the residential complex and make for an ideal spot to place a dining zone. The overall result is a calm, modern interior in grey tones, with warm textures of wood and splashes of brass and rusty metals - materials that our clients are perennially drawn to.
